HP releases successful benchmark testing report on eBaoTech GeneralSystem V3.1.2

eBaoTech obtained another benchmarking certification of its GeneralSystem V3.1.2, this time from the Capacity Planning Center of Hewlett Packard in Seoul, Korea.
The objective of benchmark test was to simulate a real business scenario running on GeneralSystem V3.1.2 using HP hardware in the areas of New Business, Claims and Finance modules for general (property and casualty) insurance business, representing 5.3 million policies and more than 4.5 million customers in the database. The test confirmed that eBaoTech GeneralSystem can support up to 5,000 concurrent users with an hourly throughput of 10,000 plus policies and over 2,000 claims per hour. An average online transaction was executed in less than one and half second response time on average.
This test result proves eBaoTech GeneralSystem meets the processing requirements of even the largest insurers and is one of the most robust general insurance applications worldwide.
IBM releases a benchmark testing report on eBaoTech GeneralSystem

eBaoTech and IBM India worked together on a benchmark testing on eBaoTech GeneralSystem in 2006. The final performance and scalability benchmark test report is released today.
eBaoTech tested the system over a two-week period at IBM System Solution Centre in Bangalore, India. The benchmark simulated real-life scenarios in both personal and commercial business, representing 15 million policies and more than one terabytes of data. The system can support up to 1,000 con-current users performing more than 34,000 business transactions per hour. Each transaction was executed within less than a two-second response time. This benchmark was performed on IBM eServer pSeries and IBM TotalStorage.
The benchmark test confirms that eBaoTech GeneralSystem is one of the most powerful and robust general insurance (property and casualty) applications in the world. eBaoTech GeneralSystem can meet the processing requirement of the largest Insurance companies.
