Position Product Manager
Location Shanghai
Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage product plan, roadmap, including management of current functionality and vision for the future.
  • Define product definition and specification through concise and thorough documentation (e.g. PRD/MRD, Functional Spec.) and communication with cross-functional departments; deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification.
  • Monitor closely relevant requirements from standard bodies and incorporate on the product roadmap.
  • Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
  • Provide technical expertise to Sales and Marketing for creation of product positioning, collateral, data sheet, manual, competitive analysis, training, and customer presentations.
  • Facilitate requirements sessions and document business and system requirements for the product.
  • Author, assist and/or provide company responses to RFI/RFP for product answers to Sales.
  • Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage/pre-released products.
Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in a product management role; experienced as a software product manager a big plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and excellent team work skills for groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; customer facing presentation skills and experience preferred.
  • Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Demonstrated leadership / management capabilities.
  • Original/creative thinking and superior problem solving abilities.
  • Empathy toward the business challenges of a fast-growth company.
  • Experience working with multiple internal groups including engineering, operations, marketing, etc.
  • Willing to travel. This position requires travel to (domestic and/or international) customer and non-customer sites (up to 20%).
  • Must be able to provide examples of effective documents delivered in the past.
  • General knowledge of marketing, including market research, market sizing, pricing, and product launch; demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products a big plus.
  • For Functional Product Manager track, Life and/or P&C Insurance domain expertise is highly preferred; Financial/Insurance relevant degree or work experience a strong plus.
  • For Technical Product Manager Track, computer Science or Engineering degree or work experience a strong plus; Technical expertise in Java technologies, SOA, and experience in rollout of enterprise-wide technology projects is highly preferred.

Position ARAP Product Development Manager
